A Pre-Fall 2015 Contemporary

Womenswear Collection.

Designed to cater to the busy lifestyles

of women around the world.

Students in their final year at Ryerson University for Fashion Design are asked to create a capsule collection of five cohesive looks that draw on all the skills they have acquired throughout their degree.

My vision for this collection was to combine classic tailoring with modern proportions and silhouettes to create gorgeous garments that would last a lifetime, both in style and construction.

I was inspired by architecture, and specifically the Getty Centre designed by Richard Meier in LA. I fell in love with the clean, geometric lines and the pristine beauty of the white concrete. I chose to use a monochromatic colour scheme to accentuate the style lines, as well as create garments that could easily be mixed and matched to give women the freedom to show off their personal style.

Women will love the Brodie Peteran collection because of the unique features like hidden contrast detailing, and a beautiful fit that flatters any body type. And because of our commitment to local and ethical production, women are sure to feel just as good about the clothes as they do in them.

We promise.
